who specializes in working with the hospitality industry. His work takes him from photo studios to bars, hotels, restaurants and anyplace else people are making and serving drinks. His world is one of bright colors and intimate details. Focusing in on the matcha sprinkled on the rim of the glass. Or the smirk on the bartender's face as they pour a drink.
A cocktail in of itself is a narrative. It's a story waiting to happen. As a photographer I don't need to do much to create a story. Two glasses of champaign in front of a fire. You're having a romantic evening with your partner. Reminding them why they fell in love with you on your anniversary. Or it's a tattooed arm sliding a tropical drink across the bar to you. An exotic night spent with strangers turned friends listening to old stories and tall tales. It's in the details that you include in the photograph and the details that you leave out.
